What Am I Gonna Do?
I am worried about my future because I have less than a year to find a job and move out, otherwise my dad is kicking me out and I may be homeless. My biggest problem is I have arthritis that comes and goes, it's been three years since I've had a real job, and I've been going to community college for too long and I'm still not done! I need to find a real job, but the problem is it is hard to find one without knowing somebody. I may have to go back to McDonald's, but that's the last thing I want to do, but if I have to, I will. After all, nobody forces you to eat their food.
I really want to be a graphic designer, but many of the graphic design jobs want experienced people, but where do I go to get the experience? Internships of course, but where I live, there isn't too many good grphic design jobs out here. My local newspaper wants 3 years experience. I don't want my dream to die, but I am going to have to get a real job so I can move out of my parents house, then hopefully I can go on with making my dream come true.
I hope I can do all these things, but it's so much easier said than done!

well, I hope that your Dad would be lenient and not kick you out unless you were settled.
Times are difficult to find a job right now, but if you can find one, any one, that is good. Now ,as I can hear my Dad saying, is not the time to be choosy, you can always find a different or better one down the road, as long as you have income coming in.
And whatever you do, don't give up on your dream. Never! Sometimes it doesnt fall in our laps, but if you keep on the drive you will find you dream, and the career you desire. I know easy for me to type, but seriously, keep your dream alive, keep plugging away, even if it means taking a job that you don't want, it will provide you with stability and you can continue to work on what you really want.
xox :)
