I Finally Have a Boyfriend!
I still can't believe it finally happened! I know some of you will think this is crazy, but I met him from MySpace. It started out with him making a friend request to me, and when I viewed his profile and saw that he liked the same music as me (including Rage Against the Machine and The Who) I just had to accept it. We left a few comments to each other, then we started sending several messages to each other, then we moved onto Instant Messaging. Shortly after that, we started talking on the phone. We really started to like each other so we decided to start a relationship. Right now it's long distance, but we plan to visit each other this summer and go on our first date. We've actually been going out for a month, I'm just now telling you guys about this. Remember when I said I'd have a great valentines day? well, this is the reason why I did. In addition to us talking on the phone everyday, my boyfriend has sent me gifts, which I love! I plan to send him some gifts too, which I know he will love too!
I knew that some couples have met over the internet, but I never imagined that it would happen to me, but it did! The reason why I joined MySpace in the first place was to keep in touch with SuperAmanda since she moved from Blogger to MySpace, and to meet some more Who and Rachel Fuller fans.
Well now I am a believer that you really can find love when you're not even looking for it. I have been getting to know my boyfriend and we both have a lot more in common with each other. Not just music, but we both like the same kinds of movies, TV shows, food, and we've both been through hell with So-called friends doing us wrong. Although we still have our differences, he likes TV wrestling, and I like Doctor Who, but these are just minor things.
I know how risky it is to meet someone from on-line, but I know for sure he's the real deal. I have received pictures of him through the mail, and I've been talking to him on the phone a lot, even my mom's talked to him a bit and she can tell that he's not phony.
I'm just so happy to finally have a boyfriend, and the bonus is, he has no kids yet, and he's not married! He has been very honest to me and I have been honest to him. I can't wait to meet him in person this summer!

I am so happy for you. The internet is not all bad, and it sounds like you have been very careful. I hope it all works out when you finally meet him. You sound happy.

Hi Metalchick, Great news! I hope everything works out well for you.
Since you are one of my 'blog-sisters' I want to give you a little advice.
Take things slowly, let things happen naturally & don't open your heart too quickly.
I'm smitten right now myself. There's this girl who works at the bank I go to. Her name is Emiliya & she's incredible! We always flirt & I make her laugh.
However...
I'm a little afraid of asking her out. Not sure if she has a boyfriend or not. I'd be totally bummed if she was spoken for.
Deep down I'm kind of shy also. I've got to work up my courage & just go for it.
Wish me luck! Ed
The Internet really does bring people together doesn't it! Hope it all works out well for you! I bet you cant wait for summer to arrive now.:)
Well if he's a Who fan he can't be all bad now, can he?
: )
I'm happy for you!
You crack me up Michelle-
"the BONUS is he's not even married."
:)
I hope and pray it works out for you!!
Sounds promising.
If I had to do it all over again, I think being a Who fan is a MAJOR requirement.
Just makes things easier.
I got a new MySpace profile but I am so done with the vanity/narcissism trap that I fell into. So I came back as...well, you'll see!
Take care.
Love
Sue
